What we collect
When you book a visit we ask for your name, phone number, email address, vehicle details and anything you add in the notes. If you use Find my car, we also receive the official vehicle, MOT test, mileage, defect and recall data available for that registration. This site uses no analytics trackers, advertising cookies or third-party marketing tools.
Why we collect it
One purpose only: arranging and carrying out the work on your car — confirming your booking, contacting you about the job, and keeping a service history for your vehicle for future visits. We do not send marketing or sell your details. A Find my car lookup sends the registration to the official DVSA MOT History service and, when enabled, the DVLA Vehicle Enquiry service.
Where it lives and how long
Booking details are stored securely with our website host and a copy of each request is emailed to us. Unbooked vehicle lookups are cached temporarily and then removed. Vehicle data linked to a job is kept with its service history for bookkeeping and future visits. Want your details removed? Ask, and we delete them.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask at any time to see the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it — just get in touch and we'll sort it, no forms, no fuss.
